This guide will help you learn how to install Apatar for Windows. To run Apatar on Linux, please read the Instructions to Install Apatar for Linux.

Pre-Installation Requirements

Before you install and configure Apatar, you must provide the following pre-installation requirements.

Hardware:

  • 100 MB of disk space
  • 512 MB of RAM
  • 1GHz processor

Operating System:

  • MS Windows (2000, XP, 2003, Vista)

Installation Process

To install Apatar, please follow these steps:

  1. Download Apatar installation package

  2. Run the ".exe" file
  3. Select components to install:

  4. Choose destination folder

  5. Choose Start menu folder

  6. Wait while Apatar files are being extracted
If JRE 1.5 (Java Runtime Environment) is not installed on your computer, an automated wizard will be launched to provide the updates. If you have other JRE versions installed, don't forget to remove them. Please note that Apatar will not work without JRE 1.5.

Once Apatar is installed, you can run the application from the Apatar folder in your system's "Start" menu.

Hello, Eva!

You need JRE 1.5 to be installed only..
Otherwise, the versions will conflict.

I cannot get past the registration screen... it pops a message box up that contains some html code...
