This guide will help you learn how to register and start using Apatar. Once registered, the account for Apatar forums and community (http://apatarforge.org) will be created for you automatically.

Registration process

When you launch Apatar for the first time, the following window will occur:

         

1. If you are an existing user (you have downloaded Apatar and registered in it successfully or you are registered at www.apatarforge.org) keep Existing user selection, enter you username and password
             and click ok.

         
2. If you are a new user, select New User and enter your details in the fields below.

         

         As you are selecting a user name you can check if it's not taken by clicking 'Check Availability'

         

         If the user name is available, Ok will appear to the right of the button

         

         If the user name is already taken, Taken will be shown to the right of the button and you will need to pick a different user name.

         

3. If you are using a proxy server, check Set up Proxy Server and enter the details in the fields below.

         

4. Click Ok.

Now you can start using Apatar for your data integration projects.
