CDYNE Demographics Web service delivers statistical data about your customers to assist you in building customized marketing campaigns. Determine the ethnic or socio-economic makeup of your current customer base or purchased marketing list. This guide will help you learn how to access and configure this feature using Apatar.

To start getting data from CDYNE Demographics Web service,

1. Drag-and-drop the CDYNE Demographics node to Apatar's work panel.
2. Drag-and-drop and configure the source connector related to a database you want to extract customer addresses from.
3. You also need two more connectors for output data. The former one will contain the records enhanced with demographics data, while the latter one will contain the records with unvalidated customer addresses. Configure them, as well.
4. If the names of the fields differ in the source and output tables, place two Transform operations between the CDYNE Demographics node and the output connectors.
5. Map the connectors according to the picture bellow.
   
   
   
   
6. Double-click on the CDYNE Demographics node to configure it.
   
   
   
   
7. Provide your CDYNE Web Services authentication details.
8. After that, CDYNE Demographics work panel should occur. Drag-and-drop the source fields containing addresses to the work panel. Map it with one of the Get Demographics functions.
   
   
   
   

   Note that if you place the cursor over the CDYNE node's connection points, you will get tooltips with hints on what data should be mapped here.

   
   You can use one of the functions in the right column. The first one accepts customer addresses based on street address, city, and state, while another one accepts customer street address and ZIP code.
   
   
   
   
9. To save your money and not waste it on the same addresses again and again, Apatar uses temporary storage containing the results of each validation. You can also adjust the life time of this accessory database. To do so, clik the Clear Demographics button and set the necessary frequence of the storage updates.
   
   
   
   
10. Click Ok.
11. Finally, configure the Transform nodes preceding the output connectors.

Now you can launch the transformation.
