This guide will help you learn how to output the records containing the field values that begin with a certain string.

Configuration

To start filtering records using the Begins With function,

  1. Configure data sources and provide the mapping

In this example, we will use the following custom table:

  2. Open the Filter (or Validate) node
  3. Click on the String section to find the Begins With icon
  4. Drag-and-drop it to the Filtration's work panel

  5. As well, drag-and-drop the field that may contain the values that begin with a desired string
  6. Map the nodes according to the picture below

  7. Double-click on the Begins With node to configure the function
  8. Enter the desired value that may be contained in the records

  9. Press Ok
  10. Close the Filtration window

Now the output table will contain only those records where the Column field begins with the specified text.

Preview

To preview the results, right-click on the output node and select "Preview Results". The following window will pop up.

Now you can close the window and continue data integration.
