1. Connecting to GoldMine

     1) Drag-and-drop MSSQL icon into Apatar's Visual Job Designer;
     2) Double-click on the icon;
     3) Enter your GoldMine authentification details;

Here we'll describe what data should be extracted first, and how to do it.

2. Connecting to SalesForce.com

Enter SalesForce.com authentification details

3. Transforming GoldMine table to SalesForce.com format

Here we'll describe how to map appropriate GoldMine and SaleForce.com fields to start populating SalesForce.com tables. Generating Salesforce.com IDs.

4. Joining SalesForce.com Data with GoldMine Data

Here we'll describe how to mashup SalesForce.com table data with GoldMine's CONTACT1 table data. Also, we need to highlight what data should be validated to provide the mapping, and how to solve the problem of generating SalesForce.com IDs.

To solve the problem with SalesForce.com IDs, you need two SalesForce.com connectors. Configure one connector for SalesForce.com "Account" table, and another for SalesForce.com "Contact" table.

SalesForce.com IDs will be generated in SalesForce.com connector configured for "Account" table. Then these IDs will be transferred into SalesForce.com connector configured for "Contact" table. For this purpose, we use "Join" node with join condition inside.

Map all the nodes as it is shown on the picture below.

Now double click on the Join node to enter Join window.

Drag-and-drop "Id" field from SalesForce.com "Account" table (Input Table1 layer on the left) into Join's working panel. As well, drag-and-drop "AccountId" field from SalesForce.com "Contact" table. Map these fields together.

Switch to "Condition" tab page. Press "+" to define new condition.

Here we specify the fields which should be equal in both SalesForce.com "Account" and GoldMine "CONTACT1" tables.

Choose "Name" field from "Account" table and "COMPANY" from "CONTACT1" table.

Now switch back to the "Work" tab page. Also, switch to the "Input Table2" (see the left panel). You will see the fields of GoldMine "CONTACT1" table. Drag-and-drop all the fields you want to transfer from GoldMine to SalesForce.com into Join's working panel. As well, drag-and-drop all corresponding SalesForce.com fields. Map the fields together.

Click "Ok".

5. Populating SalesForce.com

Running ETL process and loading all necessary data into SalesForce.com.

This procedure is posted under Integration. Does this infact updates the data the might have been inserted before. Would it do a 2 way syncronization of data?

Hello.

To provide synchronization, you also need to switch your output SFDC connector to the Synchronization mode.

The following guide might be of interest to you:

p.s. As for today, SFDC sync is implemented one way only. This feature will be improved in the future.
